Below are a few photographs of Capital Radio’s Road Show when I visited the Biggin Hill Air Fair on 19th May 1974.
According to Wikipedia, Biggin Hill Air Fair was, at the time, one of the world’s largest civilian airshows and the largest privately organised air show in Europe, so presumably a good publicity opportunity for Capital, which had started broadcasting only seven months earlier, in October 1973.
